FLATONIA CRAWFEST THIS WEEKEND!
Crawfest 2011
Saturday April 16th from 6pm until Midnight
Flatonia American Legion Hall.
Tickets: $30.00 a person.
Includes a feast of crawfish, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, beer, wine and tea.
Crawfest is featuring: TEXXAS, for your listening and dancing pleasure from 8pm-midnights
Door prizes, a Silent and Live Auction will go on throughout the evening.
You may purchase tickets from the Chamber Office, C & M Liquor, Migl’s Super Market, or at Rhinestone Angel. Get your ticket today, only 400 will be sold!

Round Table Health Discussion – Field Trip to Herb Cottage
April 18th
The Herb Cottage, located between Schulenburg and Hallettsville, is home to many, varieties of herbs - Lime Thyme, Ginger Mint, Banana Mint, Hot and Spicy Oregano, Cuban Oregano, Black Pepper Basil, Holy Basil, African Basil. Learn how to use various herbs in the landscape, how to use herbs for healthy eating and to maintain good health. Owner Cindy Meredith is past President and current Board Member of The Herb Association of Texas. Cindy will guide our tour of her rural nursery, pointing out medicinal benefits of herbs.... best to wear shoes... sandals are worn at your own risk.
We will gather at the Schulenburg RV Park (on Highway 77 next door to Dairy Queen) promptly at 1:45pm, caravanning to the Herb Cottage at 2:00pm. Round Table Health Discussions are held on the third Monday of every month.
The public is invited to free health discussions 2 -3:30pm every third Monday at the

Jam Session at Schulenburg RV Park - April 19th
Come on down to the free jam session 6:30-9pm - Tuesday, April 19th at the Schulenburg RV Park Meeting Rooms on Highway 77 next door to Dairy Queen.
Knee Slappin’ Jams are held on the first and third Tuesdays of every month. Rev up your instrument or your singing voice and come on down! Acoustic instruments only, please. (Upon arrival, wait for parking directions.) For more information call 979-743-4388.
