“Get the Jump on Springtime Allergies!”
Lee Kunkel will lead a discussion on how to use herbs to tone your immune system to prevent (or lessen) the immune hyperactivity characteristic of seasonal allergies. If you have Spring or Summer allergies, you can do a lot to head off the worst suffering by starting preventive measures at least 6 to 8 weeks in advance. That means starting now! Learn which foods make allergies worse. Mr. Kunkel, AHG, ABC, is a member of the American Herbalists Guild and the American Botanical Council, and is a graduate of the David Winston Center for Herbal Studies.
Cindy Meredith, past President and current Board Member of The Herb Association of Texas and owner of the Herb Cottage, will talk to us about propagating and harvesting the “Central Texas Friendly” herbs discussed by Lee Kunkel.
